Raleigh Tour d' Coop and Shallotte Farmers' Market

We have been staying busy lately selling our meat each week at the Shallotte Farmers' Market, baling wheat hay, and taking care of everyday business on the farm. Additionally, a lady on Raleigh's Tour d' Coop last Saturday who we also have sold pullets to in the past invited us to come by her house and set up a table to promote our backyard chicken flocks and other products. It was a lot of fun, and Wesley and I got to talk to a ton of people about chickens, farming, and a good bit of everything in between. In addition to the Tour d' Coop we have been selling at the Shallotte Farmers' Market for the last three weeks, and it has been a good experience getting to know the folks there and having the chance share our products. I took a few cell phone pictures our first weekend there, and thought you'd like to take a glance and some of the goings on.
Here is Wesley and Edward standing with a sign I made to list our pricing and information.

This is a snapshot of our "booth neighbor," Jeremy Conroy with his handcrafted wood bowls, cutting boards, Christmas ornaments, and wine bottle stands. You should definitely check out his and his wife Amy's etsy store, Otiscraft when you get the time.

Hardee's take out drink trays make the best business cards holder. ;)

Be on the lookout soon for honey made on the farm with the above label attached.

If you're in the area this Saturday, we'd love to chat with you about our products and help you in anyway we can.
